Page 1 of 2. « Previous | [1] 2 | Next » Mom and I went to Ireland in June 2005. Overall it was an incredible trip. We flew in to Dublin (side note, LAX sucks for domestic-international transfers), hired a car, and spent the next week driving clockwise around the southwest coast and up to Galway before making our way back out east to Navan. On this leg of the trip, we visited Enniskerry and the Wicklow Mountains, Glendalough, Kilkenny, Kinsale, a tiny bit of the Ring of Kerry, Tralee, Cliffs of Moher, Doolin, Dingle Peninsula, and the Burren, among others. Sarah flew in to Dublin and met us in Navan, and then we spent a few days exploring Dublin at the end of the trip. We had great weather (who says it rains in Ireland?), only blew out one car tire (pretty good for those NARROW roads), drank good beer, and heard great music.
