Friday Harbor Christmas 2002 In the spirit of Christmas 2000 I spent Christmas 2002 in the San Juan Islands with Grandmother, Nona, Dad, Lynn, Matt, Kati, Sarah, Sadi, Sufi, and Libby. We did even more puzzles than last time, including several late-night sessions of puzzle-making madness from Sadi and Kati. Matt and I knocked the rust off our backgammon skills and took on the Turkish champion--Matt proved to have the golden touch. Fabuluous food was made and consumed in large quantity. We made several trips to American Camp. Gifts were unwrapped and shared. Dad took us out in the boat. We found the new Friday Harbor bowling alley, and it turns out we all had bowling skills we didn't know we had. We showed those island teenagers. Next time, family bowling shirts.
