Yampa and Green River Float 2003
Page 2 of 2. « Previous | 1 [2] | Next » This year we got lucky in the river permit lottery, and I got to go along with family and friends on a float trip on the Green and Yampa rivers in the plateau region of northwestern Colorado and northeastern Utah. (See Dinosaur Monument page for more information.) This was a similar crew that went on the Grand Canyon float in 2001. We had a great time with mostly hot weather, mellower rapids than the Grand (or even the Rogue River), epic water fights, tasty food, and only one night of bad mosquitoes.
